Description
Don't trash your pumpkins—smash them instead! Come to Village Green Park and be part of our pumpkin composting initiative. Let's work together to divert as many pounds as possible from landfills. Before smashing, weigh your pumpkins and ensure they are free of decorations and candles. Please note that painted pumpkins cannot be accepted. You have the option to drop off your pumpkins and leave, or if you'd like to participate in smashing, please bring a baseball bat or shovel.
No registration is required for this free event. At the same time and place, Go Green Glen Ellyn will be hosting a recycling event for small appliances, batteries, latex paint, and more. Visit gepark.org/calendar or gogreenglenellyn.org.

JUNKLUGGERS:
Any item which can be plugged in and/ or is battery operated is accepted (batteries not accepted). All items free, except $20 for TV/Monitors.
GO GREEN GLEN ELLYN + ECOSHIP PACKAGING COLLECTION:
All items are accepted free of charge. These items are being REUSED by small businesses, NOT recycled, therefore items must be clean and dry, no rips, holes, stains, etc. Labels can remain on.
