1. Cantigny Spring Fest

Dont miss the opportunity to visit the BRAND NEW beer garden that was just built at Cantigny Park, making its debut at the Spring Fest. And browse the vendors at the first ever indoor marketplace inside the historic McCormick House.

2. Blooming Fest in West Chicago

This festival began as a plant sale by the West Chicago Garden Club back in 1999, but has now transformed into a huge community gathering and celebration of Spring! Complete with live music, local vendors, kids’ activities, food trucks, and of course- a plant sale! 🌷

3. Mayfaire at The Waldorf School of DuPage

Celebrate the arrival of Spring at this joyous festival. Activities include maypole dancing, music, flower crowns, food concessions, games, children’s gift shop, artisan vendors and more. Free admission, but some activities require tokens to participate. Butterfly tokens are $1 each or 12 for $10.

4. Last Day of Healthy Kids Running Series

The 5 week series concludes with one last race, a ceremony, finisher medals for all the kids, extra vendor activities, and even a parents-only race! Don’t worry if you haven’t signed up or been to one yet, you can do just a single race!

5.  Go see the movie IF 

Opens in theaters on May 17th, this live-action animated adventure is about a girl named Bea who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids.  Macaroni kid publishers across the country came up with some really creative ways to get your family excited about the movie and do some fun IF inspired activities. Or use the IF generator to bring your own drawings and creations to life!
