A winter visit to Cosley Zoo has become a favorite family tradition. Cosley Zoo is transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of twinkling lights, an amazing selection of Christmas trees, wreaths and greenery, hot chocolate, and a unique assortment of holiday gifts in the Wild Side Gift Shop. All proceeds from this event benefit Cosley Zoo. Admission is free during the festival.

Festival of Lights & Tree Sale FAQs
1. What are the zoo’s hours during the festival?
The zoo is open 9A-9P daily. The lights come on at 3P. On Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve, the zoo is only open from 9A-12P and closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
2. Are concessions available?
The Coyote Concession stand is only open for hot chocolate service on weekends from 9A-9P and weekdays from 3- 9P.
3. Will the Wild Side Gift Shop be open?
Yes, the gift shop offers holiday gifts, children’s toys, logo’d apparel and a lot more.
4. What do the sales from the festival go to?
The proceeds benefit the Cosley Foundation. The 501(c)3 organization is dedicated to raising funds in support of Cosley Zoo. All purchases at the zoo are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

While at the zoo take a stroll through the winter wonderland featuring 20,000+ twinkling lights and a herd of whimsical lighted animal figures.
The Festival of Lights and Tree Sale begins the day after Thanksgiving (11/29/2024) and continues through December 30.
Advanced reservations are not required during the Festival of Lights. Reservations will return in January 2023.
