Description
National Night Out is an annual event where the Wheaton Police Department encourages the community to come out and connect with your neighbors and Wheaton Police for a night of family fun. The 2024 event will take place at Northside Park from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. The event will take place in the southwest portion of the park, across from the tennis courts. Join us for a family friendly night of activities and connecting with your local community and Wheaton Police Department!
Activities will include:
- Fishing with police officers
- Helicopter landing
- Food and drinks
- Dunk tank
- Orbeez station
- Music
- SWAT obstacle course for kids
- Activities for all to enjoy with community organizations
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
