The Museum offers eight camps to choose from for ages 4 to 12. Young ones can become dinosaur detectives or learn about trains and older kids can choose a LEGO® camp with a theme that interests them the most. LEGO® camp themes include Minecraft, Pokémon, wildlife wonders, machine mayhem, radical rides and STEM.
All Aboard Train Camp gives participants the chance to explore the model railroad and create engaging train-themed art projects. From games to crafts, stories, and more, this is all about trains! Camp takes place July 1-3 from 9A-12P. This camp is for ages 4-6.
Radical Rides using LEGO® Materials Camp- Start your engines by building fast and furious vehicles of all kinds with our Play-Well instructors that will help you get movin' and groovin'! The morning class learns how to build and design an array of exciting machines, traversing land, sea, and air, with the assistance of experienced Play-Well instructors. In addition to this, the afternoon class will focus on the engineering principles behind motors, gears, and everything that vrooms and zooms! Camp takes place July 14-18 from 1-4P. This camp is for ages 7-12.
Pokémon using LEGO® Materials Camp is calling all Pokémon trainers! With the Pokémon Championship approaching the morning class, join our enthusiastic Play- Well Instructors as we build and catch our favorite Pokémon, rescue Pikachu from Team Rocket, take a ride on the S.S. Anne to uncover rare and mystic Pokémon, and battle to see who will hold the title of Pokémon Master. In the afternoon, learn to build your favorite Pokémon, level up by teaching them special moves, evolve them into more powerful versions, and come face to face with the current champion in an epic battle for the title. Come along on our journey to catch 'em all!! Camp takes place July 21-25. For ages 5-7, camp is from 9A-12P and for ages 7-12, camp is from 1-4P.
Wildlife Wonders using LEGO® Materials camp invites participants to design and build their way through the animal kingdom, from sea to safari, using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. With the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor, participants will recreate diverse habitats while crafting animals in their natural surroundings. Your animal adventure awaits! Camp takes place July 28- August 1 from 9A-12P. This camp is for ages 5-7.
Dinosaur Detectives Camp is perfect for dinosaur fans! Participants will get to dig for dinosaur bones, learn about and create fossils, complete dinosaur crafts, and read stories. Camp takes place August 5-7 from 9A-12P. This camp is for ages 4-6.
Minecraft using LEGO® Materials camp will have participants venturing into the world of Minecraft with our unique LEGO® experience. In the morning session: build your base, craft your tools, use your Minecart to harvest raw resources, and battle to stop the Ender Dragon from ending the world. In the afternoon session, build shelters to keep out Creepers, craft mystical items that only true masters can wield, and perfect our crossbow skills to stop the Wither from taking over! Come explore the endless possibilities of LEGO® with a trained Play-Well instructor. Camp takes place August 11-15 from 1-5P. This camp is for ages 7-12.
