Our camps provide a balanced experience of doing, feeling and thinking in a way that stimulates fun, creativity and a sense of well-being. Rhythms of the Earth Dance Camp: June 16-20, 2025

This summer camp invites children to explore movement, music, and imagination in a nurturing environment. Through creative dance, storytelling, and rhythm, they develop coordination, social skills, and artistic expression, while connecting to nature through playful, Waldorf-inspired activities.

Cost: $260
Open to campers ages 6-9
Camps will run 8:00-12:00. Campers are to arrive to The Waldorf School of DuPage between 7:45-8:00 am and be picked up between 12:00-12:15 PM


Science Camp: June 16-20, 2025

Do you have a burning desire to learn more about the world around you? Come join us for some fun, messy, fascinating, and even delicious science experiments. We will learn chemistry, physics and earth sciences in a hands-on and artistic way. This camp is led by our rising 7th and 8th Grade teacher, Ms. McLachlan.

  • Cost: $260
  • Open to campers ages 10-14
  • Camps will run 8:00-12:00. Campers are to arrive to The Waldorf School of DuPage between 7:45-8:00 am and be picked up between 12:00-12:15 PM

Parent-Child Camp: June 17-19, 2025

Parents will accompany their children in circle and story time, creating simple crafts, playing games, and enjoying physical movement. These sessions will be indoor/outdoor. Rain gear will be needed for outdoor playtime depending on the weather. Siblings younger than 18 months old are welcome to participate in class at no additional fee.

Little Nature Camp: June 23-27

Little Nature Camp invites children ages 3-6 to explore the natural world through gardening, birdwatching, and fun science activities. Campers will plant flowers, learn about growth cycles, and create nature-inspired crafts. Imaginative play in the woods fosters creativity, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the environment.

Skateboard Camp: June 23-27

Ready to try skateboarding or learn new tricks? Join our Skateboarding Summer Camp for kids ages 7-10! Whether you're a beginner or seasoned skater, our expert counselors from Fargo skatepark will help you improve. Camp includes equipment, outdoor practice, and a field trip to Fargo’s indoor skatepark! 

Camp will make use of the skateboarding pad located at Summer Lakes Park, within walking distance of our campus. Just like last year this camp will culminate with a field trip to Fargo (an amazing indoor skate park in DeKalb) on Friday of this week.

Magic Camp: June 23-27

Does your child love all things magical? At Magic Camp they will have the opportunity to explore such magical subjects as potion making, magical creatures, herbology, and wand making. Drawing from ancient cultures and folklore from around the world, as well as popular modern stories, we will explore the realm of magic through nature, art, crafting, and cooking! This camp is led by our rising 7th and 8th Grade teacher, Ms. McLachlan.

Pioneer Camp: June 30-July 3, 2025

Come join us as we discover what life was like in the mid-1800s! From stories and songs, to crafts and baking, children will be delighted to experience what life was like for the pioneers. This camp is led by our rising 7th and 8th Grade teacher, Ms. McLachlan.

Archery Camp: June 30-July 3, 2025

Give it a "shot" and challenge your discipline, focus, and problem-solving skills! Ms. Rachael, our Games & Movement teacher, will integrate Mindfulness and character-building in Growth Mindset skills. Look forward to a fun-filled time as archers aim for bulls-eyes in archery and AIM HIGH IN LIFE! All equipment will be provided.

  • Open to campers ages 12-14
  • Camps will run 8:00-12:00. Campers are to arrive to The Waldorf School of DuPage between 7:45-8:00 am and be picked up between 12:00-12:15 PM

Into the Woods: June 30-July 3, 2025

Activities include picking berries, catching and releasing frogs and exploring along the edge of ponds and streams. Children will meet and be picked up at local forest preserves and parks. This camp is co-led by our rising 6th Grade teacher, Mrs. Hays and our handwork teacher, Mrs. Olsen.

  • Cost: $260
  • Open to campers ages 6-12
  • Camps will run 8:00-12:00. Campers are to arrive at the designated location between 7:45-8:00 am and be picked up between 12:00-12:15 PM. Note the location will change every day as each day will be a new, local park. 

Little Artists Adventure: July 7-11, 2025

Let your little ones dive into a world of creativity and imagination at our Art & Crafts Summer Camp! This week-long camp is designed for children ages 3 to 6. Through fun, hands-on activities, your child will explore a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, beeswax, and crafting, all while engaging their senses and imagination. The camp is designed to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel supported and inspired to create. Join us for a week of fun, learning, and creative expression in a beautiful Waldorf setting!

  • Camp Highlights:
    • Creative art projects tailored to young children
    • Activities that foster fine motor skills, self-expression, and creativity
    • A supportive environment where children can freely explore their artistic talents
    • A blend of structured craft time and free artistic expression

Art-o-Rama: July 7-11, 2025

Does your child use art as a way to express themselves? This camp is designed for students who are ready to take up a challenge or two and have fun while they do it! Some of the features of this camp will include acrylic painting, handbuilding ceramics and vision board making. This art camp is led by our rising 5th grade teacher, Ms. DuRocher.

Garden to Table: July 7-11 and 14-18, 2025 (2 week bundle)

In this hands-on camp, children will learn to grow, harvest, and prepare food from the garden to the table. Through organic gardening, simple cooking, and nature-inspired crafts and songs they'll connect with the rhythms of nature while building practical skills. Campers will create delicious recipes, explore the way food grows and develop a deeper connection to the Earth and to their food. 

Note this a two week camp bundle (best value with a $50 savings). While children are welcome to join for just one week, two weeks are needed to see the full benefit of watching plants grow and deeper understanding of the concepts.

In our Fairies and Gnomes Waldorf Summer Camp, children ages 3-6 explore nature through crafting, dancing, and imaginative play. They'll create fairy homes, make eco-friendly crafts, and bring magical tales to life. Focused on creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness, campers experience the wonder of nature through storytelling and hands-on activities.

Chakra Quest: July 28-Aug 1, 2025

Unleash your inner power this summer! Join us on a fun-filled journey as we explore all 7 chakras through creative and engaging activities. Each chakra will come to life through spirit animals, vibrant colors, movement, and storytelling, making it easy for kids to connect with their energy centers. The day will be packed with visual arts, games, music, and plenty of laughter, all designed to help kids discover balance, strength, and confidence in a playful, age-appropriate way.
