Holiday Music Performances at Cantigny
Guests attending Christmas at Cantigny festivities are encouraged to stop by the Visitors Center to warm up with a hot drink and enjoy special musical performances each Tuesday and Wednesday evening in December.
Wheaton College Christmas Festival: Let the Stable Still Astonish
Experience the wonder of “Let the Stable Still Astonish” at Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. A stunning 75-minute performance with the Wheaton College choirs, Symphony Orchestra, and Symphonic Band in the iconic 2300-seat Edman Chapel. You will hear everything from classic Christmas carols to Medieval-inspired songs, a cappella melodies, and more!

Acappellago - a cappella choir
Acappellago, founded in 2002, is a volunteer a cappella choir that has fun singing all around the western suburbs of Chicago. You will see us around the suburbs in our signature Hawaiian shirts. As Acappellago it is our mission to invite you to join us as we “escape” to another place and time through the joys of a cappella music.

Christmas at the White House is indeed magical as so many First Ladies and Presidents through the years have attested. DuPage Symphony Orchestra: Holly Jolly Harmonies

A Christmas Carol - Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace
Set in Victorian-era London, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol tells the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts that visit him one fateful Christmas Eve hoping to change his miserly ways. Continue your tradition or start a new one by gathering the whole family for the 30th anniversary of Drury Lane Theatre’s heartwarming production. Complete with falling snow and magical illusions, the play is a visually-stunning experience and, at one hour long, perfect for children of all ages.

Elf The Musical, Jr. - Wheaton Drama Playhouse
Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. We meet Buddy, the orphan-turned-elf, as he journeys from the North Pole, where he has been raised among Santa’s elves, to New York City in order to discover his past, embrace a new world, and bring Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear! Along the way, Buddy & friends deliver toe-tapping songs, quippy jokes, and rousing dance numbers. Elf the Musical, Jr. will feature a cast entirely of children & teens and will be the Wheaton Drama holiday special—running one weekend only. This show is going to be the perfect holiday treat for every family!

Elf The Musical, Jr. - Ghostlight ETC, Downers Grove
The mission at Ghostlight Educational Theatre Collective is to inspire, nurture, challenge, amaze, educate and empower artists and audiences, in order to make our public a more conscious and compassionate community. Ghostlight ETC is an educational theatre company where our priority is making both performance and technical theatre accessible for all regardless of race, gender, identity, disability, or socioeconomic status. Theatre should be a means by which students grow and create by examining their sense of self and the world in which they live.

Virtual: The Royal Ballet performance of The Nutcracker
Not sure if you can get out of the house to enjoy a live performance? Get in the spirit of the season by watching a recorded performance of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker performed by the Royal Ballet. The ballet, a holiday staple for all ages, can be viewed Saturday, Deember 16 and Sunday December 17. Free, but registration required - link will be emailed to watch the performance.
