Fall is coming and the orchards are abundant with local grown apples. Going apple picking is a great activity for your family to do together!
There is a lot that Wheaton has to offer, but unfortunately, acres of land for apple tree orchards is not one of them. Luckily there are many great orchards worthy of the scenic drive, but close enough to just make an afternoon of it! We have listed all the fairly-local Orchards & Farms offering Apple Picking for your convenience. Be sure to visit our event calendar for LOTS of other options for fall events to keep your family busy!

Windy Acres Farm

- $14.99 per person – 1/4 peck bag. Under 2 will be admitted free of charge but will not be given a picking bag.
Jonamac Apple Orchard

- The charge for apples is $12/half peck picked and $20/peck picked.
- Back 40 Fun Acres:
- 7 days a week, 8:00 am to Dusk
- Regular Weekdays: $5 for ages 3-15; Weekends: $10 for ages 3+; After 5pm: $5
Kuipers Family Farm

- Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and Sundays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m and Columbus Day 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Weekday apple picking is often available also – check website homepage for updates.
- $11.99 per person admission price includes ¼ peck bag of apples. Children under 2 are free, but they do not receive a bag.
Woody's Orchard & Family Fun Farm

- There is no general admission to pick apples. Orchard entrance is permitted with the purchase of at least one quarter peck bag for every 2 guests age 5 and up. $12 per quarter peck bag
