1. Go See a Local Children's Theatre Musical
This weekend seems to be the weekend of the theatre! There are a few different options of local productions from community and school drama clubs, making it the perfect time to take your family to see these exciting shows and songs come to life on stage performed by kids just like them!
A favorite Glen Ellyn holiday tradition is starting early this year thanks to the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce! Glen Art Theatre is hosting a weekly rotation of classic favorites through December.

3. Opening Day of Illumination at Morton Arboretum
One of the best winter light shows in the suburbs is back for the season! Celebrate the holidays and marvel at how light transforms a magnificent landscape of 50 acres of trees at Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum. This year you can book ahead and save money on tickets with dynamic pricing, or reserve your tickets through Museums for All.

Head to Stratford Crossing in Bloomingdale to welcome Santa's Arriving by Helicopter to kick off the holiday season. Enjoy magic shows, face painting, balloon artists, kid's crafts, free giveaways and more.
