Youth Academy at College of DuPage offers engaging courses, camps, and programs for students in grades K–12 at our Glen Ellyn, Naperville, and Westmont locations. Through Continuing Education, we create a fun, supportive environment where young people can explore new interests, build confidence, develop practical skills, and prepare for future academic and career success. Summer 2026 registration is now open, with camps running from June 1 through July 31.

Youth Academy
June 1–July 31, 2026 | Grades K–9
Explorer Camps (Grades K–5)
Enjoy an unforgettable summer of fun, learning, and exploration! Weekly themes include art projects, physical activities, educational components led by endorsed teachers, and thematic field trips on most Fridays. Daily and weekly rates are available.

Optional before- and after-camp supervision (7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) included.

STEAM Ventures (Grades 1–5)
Morning STEAM camps spark curiosity through hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Each week features a new theme.
Monday–Friday*, June 8–July 31, 8:30–11:20 a.m.
Optional supervision (7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) available for an additional fee.
Naperville Center and Westmont Center
Teen X-Treme (Grades 7–9)
All-day camps for older students featuring exciting, in-demand topics. Create art, design video games, print 3D objects, or explore culinary creations. Each week offers a unique experience.

Optional supervision (7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) included.
Glen Ellyn Campus and Naperville Center
Counselor Training Program (Grades 7–9)
Build leadership skills while gaining hands-on experience working with younger campers. Counselors-in-training plan and lead age-appropriate activities under staff supervision.

Optional supervision (7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) included.

Academic Enrichment Programming (Grades 3–8)
Choose from a wide range of enrichment, academic, and Elementary Excellence courses. Offerings include speech, creative writing, chess, archery, culinary arts, game design, and more.

Junior High Achievers (Incoming Grades 6–8)
A high school preview experience with curriculum modeled after high school courses. Students may build strong foundations for Honors or AP-level coursework.
Glen Ellyn Campus
High School Credit, Advancement, and Credit Recovery
Accelerated summer courses allow students to earn credit or get ahead. One summer day equals one week of regular instruction. Semester courses total 60 contact hours. In-person, hybrid, and asynchronous options available
Career Academy Camps
Explore college majors and career paths through immersive, hands-on experiences. Topics include healthcare, IT, cybersecurity, welding, graphic design, fashion, marketing, theater, and more.
Glen Ellyn Campus
Success Series
Build academic skills for success in high school and college. Topics include time management, writing, test-taking strategies, and Common App workshops.
All Campuses
Test Prep and Private Tutoring
Prepare for ACT/SAT exams or strengthen academic skills with group test prep and private tutoring options. Group sessions include strategies, practice tests, and workbooks.
