The Jerry Evans School of Music is designed around the focus of impacting the community, changing the lives of its students, bringing families together, creating a musical culture, and helping students achieve their passions and dreams in music. The Jerry Evans School of Music is dedicated to providing high quality and fun music lessons to students of all levels. Whether it’s classical, musical theatre, blues, rock, pop, country, jazz, or anything else imaginable, students will receive a quality and versatile education that exceeds expectations!
Summer Camps are held Monday through Friday, 3 hours per day. Each camp is $299/week

Rock Band Camp
Do you want to be in a band? Why wait? Rock Band Camp helps your student experience being in a real band. You and your bandmates will pick 3-5 songs to learn over the course of the week, pick a name, and the band will work on the music to prepare for an awesome show at the end of Camp. Any style of music can be played in the band, so every student can play music they love!
Songwriting Camp
Unleash your inner songwriter and embark on a captivating journey of musical creation with our week-long songwriting class! No matter what instrument you play, our Songwriting Camp will ignite your creative spark and guide you through creating wonderful melodies, chord progressions, and lyrics for a moving song.
Music Theater Camp
Students who want to be better performers and get bigger parts in their show choirs, choirs, and musicals in school will benefit tremendously from this camp! Students will explore modern show tunes, further development of vocal technique, and work on theatrical vocal techniques (belting, introspective singing, etc). This camp helps students learn how to better approach show tunes – how to work the stage, collaborative efforts, and even creating their own choreography in vocal performance.
Worship Music Camp
Students of all ages & any instruments will develop their heart and musicianship by learning how to lead or play Christian worship, and learn songs for a worship night at the end of the week! This camp is for any instrumentalist or vocalist.
Young Singers Camp
Students in Kindergarten – 5th Grade are invited to experience outdoor music games, basic theory & composition, world drumming, interactive musical story-time, and an end of the week performance!
Beat Making + World Percussion Camp
Learn how to create catchy, energetic beats in person and also on your computers & phones! At our Beat Making + World Percussion Camp, students will start by learning rhythms from around the world in daily drum circles. As campers learn and experiment with these rhythms, they will then get a chance to create their own beats digitally using any style they learn. Have fun, be creative, and enjoy the rhythm!
Electric Guitar Soloing & “Shredding” Camp
Ignite your passion for Lead Electric Guitar with our electrifying week-long electric guitar Soloing & “Shredding” class! We will dive into the realm of this iconic instrument and explore its unique soloing and shredding techniques. From tapping, to hammer-ons, pull-offs, pitch bends, and iconic solos, this comprehensive program is designed exclusively for lead electric guitar enthusiasts like you!
Jazz Combo Camp
Take your skills to the next level in a small jazz combo (3-5 members). Develop independence & collaboration, and perform classic as well as new jazz music with a group of jazz players! Learn jazz charts, improvisation, and soloing, and perform in a fantastic Jazz Concert at the end of the week.
Classical Guitar Ensemble Camp
Embark on a majestic journey into the world of classical guitar with our week-long class! Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of this revered instrument and explore the rich traditions and techniques that have captivated audiences for centuries. From delicate fingerpicking to intricate arpeggios, you’ll develop the dexterity and precision required to bring out the true essence of each composition. Unleash your expressive abilities as you explore the enchanting melodies and haunting harmonies of classical repertoire, and have a small concert at the end of the week.
String Ensemble Camp
Develop independence & collaboration, and perform amazing music with an amazing group of string players! Each member of our String Ensemble Camp will grow their skills on their instrument (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, or even Piano). Each day, campers will rehearse and polish their music, focused on getting each piece ready for a final performance at the end. Our String Ensemble Camp is a great opportunity to learn music as you meet new people and have fun making music together!
Brass Ensemble Camp
Develop independence & collaboration, and perform amazing music with a group of Brass players! Each member of our Brass Ensemble Camp will grow their skills in their instrument (Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Euphonium, Tuba, or even Piano). Each day, campers will rehearse and polish their music, focused on getting each piece ready for a final performance at the end. Our Brass Ensemble Camp is a great opportunity to learn music as you meet new people and have fun making music together!
Woodwind Ensemble Camp
Develop independence & collaboration, and perform amazing music with a group of Woodwind players! Each member of our Woodwind Ensemble Camp will grow their skills in their instrument (Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, or even Piano). Each day, campers will rehearse and polish their music, focused on getting each piece ready for a final performance at the end. Our Woodwind Ensemble Camp is a great opportunity to learn music as you meet new people and have fun making music together!
