Why did the donut go to the dentist?
(Answer below!)
Violet Crumb
118 W Liberty Dr, Wheaton, IL 60187
https://www.instagram.com/eatvioletcrumb/
Warning: these donuts are almost too beautiful to eat. But the unique flavor combinations and perfect techniques are not worth missing. This boutique, hand-crafted donut shop is owned and operated by a local mom who has been selling out within hours via online sales only for years! But her brick and mortar shop finally just opened in downtown Wheaton!
Sugar Mama's Mini Donuts
27W460 Chicago Ave Unit I, Winfield, IL 60190
https://www.sugarmamasminidonuts.com/
This place is always a hit for all ages! Obviously, because who doesn't love something that's cute and mini, but also, because children love to take 1 bite of something and then decide they're full. So these little pint sized treats are perfect for little appetites AND delicious! They just opened in February 2025 after being mobile only business for years - so definitely give them a visit to support their new storefront!

John's Donut Shop
1570 Bloomingdale Rd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139
https://johnsdonutshop.wixsite.com/mysite
The location is a little unassuming, but trust me, it will be your new favorite go-to when you need a quick and affordable dozen to feed a crowd. And my kids love John's because the sprinkled donut selection is always on point.
Baby Doll Bakery
207 S. Hale Street, Wheaton, IL 60187
If you're looking for gluten free, dairy free or vegan treats, you must visit Baby Doll Bakery (formally Sweet Natalie's Gluten Free Bakery). Even if you don't have any dietary restrictions, everything in this store is delicious! They have donuts, donut holes, packzi, and more! Since they are very knowledgeable and strive to be a one-stop-shop for gluten free goodness, you can also pick up pasta, bread, and other grocery items. The owner, Nicole, is extremely friendly and will guide you through everything in the store with ease!
